Female Green Basilisk, (Basiliscus plumifrons) also known as a Green Plumed Lizard, and the Jesus Christ Lizard. They get the Jesus name because they can run for short distances across the top of water.åÊ They are omnivores and most will take some amount of fruits and some bright edible flowers, as well as crickets, cockroaches, and an assortment of worms. They do need plenty of space, and often will get smooshed or rubbed noses if they do not have enough space or hiding areas.
